The Opening Ceremony for the 7th generation of students of Master in Public Procurement Management was held on the 11th of October, 2023 at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law.
Welcome speeches for students were delivered by: Rector of the University of Belgrade Prof. Dr. Vladan Đokić and Dean of the Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Zoran Mirković, as well as by the Ambassador of Italy in the Republic of Serbia Mr. Luca Gori and Mr. Jan Jackholt, EBRD Director of Procurement, Policy & Advisory Department.
The Ceremony continued with addresses of Ms. Jelena Čeperković, representative of the Regional EBRD Office (Western Balkans) and Prof. Dr. Gustavo Piga, on behalf of the University of Rome Tor Vergata and International Master in Public Procurement Management.
Keynote speech under title „The History of Procurement for Large Infrastructures“ was delivered by Mr. Guido Paolucci, international expert and former manager of the CEI Fund at the EBRD.
On this occasion, in honor for the immense contribution in establishment and realization of the Master in Public Procurement Management, Mr. Paolucci was awarded with special recognition – Honorary Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Master in Public Procurement Management at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law.
After introduction of MPPM 7th edition students, Ms. Jasmina Olovčić, member of the Board of the IMPPM/MPPM Alumni Association, presented its activities and pointed out the huge importance of network of procurement professionals around the world who completed this Master program.
Moderator of this event was Prof. Dr. Dobrosav Milovanović, MPPM Director.
The 7th MPPM edition consists of 27 students, of which 26 are from the Western Balkans region (17 from the Republic of Serbia, 5 from North Macedonia, 3 from Bosnia and Herzegovina and 1 from Montenegro) while one student is from Moldova.
